Trigga Professional Loudspeakers started off as a hobby in 1979 when the Chief Executive was an undergraduate as a Physics student.
He progressed from loudspeaker cabinet design for the market then to building complete loudspeakers with customized crossover network. This guarantees the durability of the product over time.
Experience has shown over the years as written in books published by many successful businessmen that your favourite hobby comes handy while planning to start a business. It is said that it is often easier to get rich by transforming your hobby into a business venture than starting any other type of business fresh from the scratch. The story of Trigga Professional Loudspeakers started as a hobby in 1979 as a university student propelled by the study of physics. I took a liking to acoustics and sound technology and built a simple two-way loudspeaker cabinet with 12" speaker and a horn tweeter. It had no crossover network since I had no idea on how to do it practically. I was aware as a physics student that an inductive-capacitive-resistive circuit is a sound frequency filter in electronic wave frequency circuits. However, I never had the idea of how to configure the high and low pass filters. Moreover there was no internet facility available for me for easy research as at then.
My research was limited to the library and the brochures of existing manufacturers like Celestion, Peavey and Torque. The most useful in order of priority were Celestion loudspeakers brochure, Peavey brochure and Torque manual. There were others however these three gave me a lead in my adventure.
In the course of my National Youth Service, my first stipend was used to buy electronic equipment from Lagos. That's how far I had gone to prepare for this journey. Finally when I found myself in the Physics Department of King's College, Lagos, it was simply a railroad affair. My research into loudspeaker design, cons
First I got a workshop where I go to work after the day's job. Bought more power tools and electronic test equipment then sold my car and paid for a sales shop at Mushin. I engaged a sales boy and often ended up my day at the shop.
I have sold my products to many churches, Disc Jockeys (DJ's), Musicians and entertainment centres. I have received unsolicited testimonials of the quality sound output, durability and high value of my products. You will have to read these testimonial in due course.
